MyPlate: Mobile Nutrition App Redesign

Product Designer | 2025

Redesigned a mobile nutrition app to improve food logging, personalized goals, and long-term engagement.

  • Designed end-to-end mobile experiences for food logging, personalized goals, and a multi-level progress dashboard, spanning user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
  • Built reusable UI components and interaction patterns to improve consistency and speed up future feature development.
  • Iterated against usability feedback, raising ease-of-use (SUS 74.5 → 77.5) and reaching 5.0/7 average ease across redesigned flows.

Tandem: Responsible AI Communication Copilot

Product Designer | 2025

Designed an AI copilot that helps teachers turn classroom observations into supportive, plain-language parent messages.

  • Defined the end-to-end experience, including core user flows, screens, and AI interaction states for teacher-parent communication.
  • Designed guardrail UX: editable AI suggestions, tone controls, and safeguards that keep messaging plain-language and non-diagnostic, reducing risk for the product and its users.
  • Prototyped and refined through design reviews and iterative think-aloud testing with a practicing teacher, reducing ambiguity in AI-generated messages and increasing her confidence in sending them as-is.

CeraVe: E-Commerce Product Discovery Redesign

Redesigned a skincare e-commerce platform to improve product discovery and ingredient transparency.

  • Reorganized product discovery and navigation, improving how products, ingredients, and decision-support tools were surfaced.
  • Simplified navigation and information architecture to reduce search effort and improve product discovery.
  • Validated with users: made unfindable ingredient information discoverable (0% → 70%) and raised task success to 70%+ on 6 of 8 core flows.
