Product Design Experience
- Took a 0→1 AI communication experience from concept to validated prototype, designing AI suggestions, tone controls, editing and regeneration flows that balance automation with transparency, user agency, and human control.
- Prototyped in Figma and Figma Make; ran think-aloud testing and translated findings into refinements across interaction flows, interface behavior, and AI feedback states.
- Analyzed 50 user reviews, with 68.3% negative, alongside competitive research, literature review, and moderated usability testing to identify gaps in food logging, personalization, and progress tracking.
- Prioritized features with MaxDiff and Value/Effort analysis, then designed flexible food logging, personalized goals, and progress dashboards.
- Improved SUS from 74.5 to 77.5 through iterative testing; defined post-launch targets of +30% logging, +20% goal completion, and +15% daily activity.
- Led a 300+ hour independent redesign using analytics, heuristic evaluation, content audit, tree testing, and usability testing.
- Identified 52 usability and heuristic issues affecting navigation, product discovery, content comprehension, and decision-making.
- Redesigned the information architecture and key discovery experiences (navigation, Ingredient Glossary, Solution Finder, filtering) with reusable responsive UI patterns.
- Achieved 70%+ task success across 6 of 8 tested journeys and improved ingredient discoverability from 0% to 70%.
Additional Design & Research
Accessibility & Inclusive Design
2026Researched GPS-based last-mile navigation and entrance finding with blind and low-vision users; evaluated experiences against WCAG and turned findings into design considerations for navigation, orientation, and feedback.
